History

Max FM is a dance radio station in the UK broadcasting from Stoke on Trent, It was a radio station with a bit of a difference. Max FM first started as Fresh FM back in 2004 but this never took off well and they had major problems with their streaming service and leaving listeners not been able to tune in.

In 2005 Fresh FM went with no press release beforehand or anything and no one really knew why it shut down and stopped broadcasting, their website was just displaying the logo and nothing else, a few weeks later they but up a message with logo saying they had ceased broadcasting and that was it.

A few months after the shutdown of Fresh FM they changed their home page with a new logo which was Max FM and stated 'We are working on a new and exciting radio station'

Max FM didn't launch until 2006, when it did they had a poor under 600 listeners for their first week of broadcasting but it soon started getting higher and higher and within months became one of the uk's biggest dance internet only radio stations, Max FM was also supporting a new and upcoming dj DJ Scrivo and playing his live gigs back on air in prime time broadcasting.
